Mr. Matsumoto is a character introduced in episode 62 "Crisis at the Agricultural Complex" He is a farmer with brown hair and a blue outfit and hat that shows Ken, Caron and Barican around the facility and demonstrates how machines have made farming far more efficient and less labor intensive in the future. The facility spans 10,000 hectares that Mr. Matsumoto must patrol everyday in his vehicle. It is revealed that many of the worker's at the facility have gone missing.
After Mr. Matsumoto goes inside the agricultural building he emits an ear deafening "BYAAAAAAAAAaaah!!". Ken dashes in to see Mr. Matsumoto covered in blood and injuries. It turns out the missing workers were due to a Jural plot to take over the agricultural complex and destroy it so the humans would starve. The building crumbles and Mr. Matsumoto is not to be seen from again. After the defeat of the Jurals. Ken buries Mr. Matsumoto and erects a grave in his memory.
